MC Showtime Universal Shows (7 KB)
These shows – which we call Showtime Universal – are designed for the MX-1, MX-4, CX-2, CX-4, Acrobat, Wizard/Wizard Extreme and Ego X4 DMX.
DMX addresses should be set as follows:
- MX-1 or MX-4: 1,25/7-31/13,36/19,43
- Acrobat: 49
- CX-4: 55
- Wizard: 61
- CX-2: 69
- Ego X4 DMX: 73
For best results, fixtures should be rigged in DMX pairs with the 2 fixtures in each pair directly opposite each other.
Shows are based on 30 sequences – 10 slow, 10 medium and 10 fast – allowing all-round use to cater for many different moods and atmospheres.
Shows are imported to the Martin 2510 controller via a new software application, the 2510 stand-alone, that can be downloaded here...

Installation is simple, and instructions are provided. After downloading the stand-alone, shows can be selected for download and stored.
Using the show playback possibilities as described in the 2510 user manual, different trig possibilities (manual, auto or music) can be used to match the light show to the mood, atmosphere and music beat. You can also tap your own beat.
A 3-pin XLR Martin reversed to 3-pin XLR standard DMX adapter ships with the 2510, starting August 2005.
